HaberlerIn the "Gold Holiday" operation, centered in Sakarya and spanning 10 provinces, 18 of the 22 suspects detained on charges of impersonating police officers and prosecutors to defraud citizens were arrested. It was determined that the suspects had obtained approximately 42 million TL in illicit gains from 19 separate fraud incidents.
Of the 27 suspects detained in Diyarbakır and six other provinces for allegedly committing fraud through associations using the name "July 15," 16 were arrested. MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) identified a money flow of 1 billion Turkish Lira in the suspects' accounts.
