One of the eight Boston Bruins at the IIHF World Championships is off to a strong start. Fraser Minten, the 21-year-old from Vancouver, BC, has three points in his first two games with Team Canada. He was named Canada’s best player after their 5-3 win over Sweden on Friday. He recorded two assists and finished with a plus-two rating. Then he followed that performance with a goal on Saturday in Canada’s 6-0 win over Italy.
