Holden sees override coming next year - The Landmark
HOLDEN — They have been talking override for a while, but town leaders have moved a bit closer, with an override vote potentially coming this fall. Town Manager Peter Lukes said the budget this year avoided an override by pulling out all the stops: essentially depleting so-called free cash and then dipping into the stabilization fund, normally used in emergency situations.
