Published by the Law Commission of the National Assembly on 15 July, Senator LR François-Noël Buffet has struggled to convince that he is the right person for the position of defender of rights. His reactionary positions have been questioned by parliamentarians in particular.
The former minister was criticized for his conservative positions by the left-wing deputies who did not hide the hostility towards his appointment.
