Four new family physicians join Renfrew County through provincial initiative

Renfrew County has welcomed four new family physicians as part of a province-wide initiative aimed at addressing the shortage of primary care providers. The physicians arrived in the community in the fall of 2024 through the Practice Ready Ontario (PRO) program, which accelerates the integration of internationally trained doctors into the province’s healthcare system.
