Fort Carson Strykers cleared to transport Border Patrol agents

Soldiers from Fort Carson have been cleared to transport Customs and Border Patrol agents while they assist with illegal-immigration enforcement.

Fort Bliss.- As of March 26, 2025, M1126 Infantry Carrier Vehicles, known as Stryker, will patrol the border areas of El Paso and Big Bend as part of the Department of Defense's support to the Customs and Border Protection Office (CBP).
