After the prosecutors filed the case of the women known as Rebecca and Laura, they filed with the Spanish Central Court.
The two former workers of Julio Iglesias who denounced the singer for allegedly sexually assaulting them when they were employed by their mansions in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Lyford Cay (Bahamas) in 2021 have filed a complaint against him before the National Audience. The plaintiffs are again requesting that a Spanish court investigate the allegations of labor exploitation and sexual violence.
The complaint of Rebecca and Laura, who worked in Iglesias mansions in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas in 2021, includes several crimes: trafficking in human beings for the purpose of forced labour and servitude, crimes against sexual freedom and against the rights of workers, injuries and abusive treatment.
