- He then challenged himself to run 1,600 km around Sydney Olympic Park athletics track in 12 days, raising $8 million as Mr Brockmann said, `We need innovative ways to help these people who need help.`
- In 2024, Brockmann launched Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge, urging supporters to pick an uncomfortable task and stick with it for 10 days to aid homelessness fundraising.
- The endurance projects channelled substantial funds to homelessness services and boosted public awareness, with Brockmann aiming to inspire wider community involvement.
