Former Ionia ISD employee criticizes work environment
A former employee told the Ionia County Intermediate School District Board of Education during public comment on Thursday that he had a dispute with the district’s maintenance director on his last day of work. Sam Mason said he was hired to work in the ISD’s maintenance department in September 2025, but “things seemed to change and become an issue” when he was moved to second shift.
