LANSING – A 45-year-old Kingston woman and former director of the Tuscola County Peer Center has been sentenced for embezzling from the center during her tenure there. Tanya Hobson was sentenced by Judge Jason Bitzer in 71B Judicial District Court in Caro, to six months in jail after pleading guilty in March to one count of embezzlement by agent or trustee – $200 or more but less than $1,000.
