An injured leopard pounced on a forest department official during a rescue operation in Davangere. The attack came before the sedative took full effect, complicating efforts to shift the animal for treatment.
An incident has occurred near Anagodu in Davangere taluk where a leopard, which was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle, suddenly attacked a forest department staff who had come to its rescue. Later, it was anesthetized, captured and taken for treatment. The injured staff member has also been admitted to the hospital.
A leopard was injured after being hit by a vehicle on NH-48 in Davanagere, Karnataka. However, it attacked the forest department team that went to rescue it. One forest worker was injured in the incident.
