Ford launches Bronco RTR, Carhartt collab ahead of Detroit Auto Show
The 2027 Bronco RTR offers Raptor-level suspension and steering with standard 33-inch tires and an optional 35-inch Sasquatch package, starting below $52,000, Ford said.
- On Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, Ford Motor Company unveiled the 2027 Ford Bronco RTR in Dearborn, introducing a factory-built model that slots below the Bronco Raptor.
- Ford positioned the Bronco RTR as a more attainable gateway, between the $51,475 Bronco Heritage Edition and roughly $80,000 Bronco Raptor, as part of its off-road strategy.
- The RTR features standard 33-inch tyres, a wider track, factory-lifted suspension with Raptor-spec steering gear, and the optional Sasquatch package upgrades to 35-inch tyres, HOSS 3.0 suspension with Fox internal-bypass dampers.
- Orders open in October 2026, and Ford says sales begin next January alongside a Carhartt partnership funding workforce development and donating five Broncos to search-and-rescue.
- Heading to King of the Hammers next month, the RTR reflects Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s vision; left-hand-drive production limits availability, while Ford Australia plans a Bronco EV / EREV variant.
