- The 100 listees collectively oversee more than $4.9 trillion in revenue, employ over 9.3 million people, and influence countries representing more than half of global GDP, Forbes said.
- The list expands geographic reach with additions from Namibia and Lithuania, and 16 women leaders, including 8 serving heads of state, appear, according to Forbes.
- Forbes' reach of more than 140 million monthly amplifies the list's impact, while Forbes initiatives including Most Powerful Women in Sports expand its women-focused coverage this year.
