Hundreds arrested and dozens of police injured after Champions League riots in France

- Vandals damaged storefronts and set fires, while 57 officers sustained injuries during the disturbances. Security forces seized two dozen flares and about 100 fireworks and cleared barricades made from bicycles near the Parc des Princes.
- Interior Minister Laurent Nunez condemned the unrest as "absolutely unacceptable," vowing a "firm" response from security forces. Three-time presidential candidate Marine Le Pen wrote on X that "only in France does a football club's victory spark riots."
- PSG players will host a public celebration Sunday at the Champ de Mars, near the Eiffel Tower, where 85,000 to 90,000 fans are expected. The team will then meet French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace.
