Locals Pitch in More than $51K for Annual Ben to the Shore Charity Bike Race

PHILADELPHIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, JUL 22 – The charity ride raised over $1.1 million to support families of fallen first responders and promote mental well-being among emergency personnel, organizers said.

Delaware County law enforcement and related entities showed up strong over the weekend for the 38th annual Ben to the Shore race benefiting the families of fallen and injured first responders. The event is a 65-mile charity bike ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City and raises money for the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation.
