Flutter halts real-money gaming operations in India after surprise ban

Flutter Entertainment plc has suspended its real-money gaming (RMG) operations in India through its subsidiary Junglee Games, following the rapid approval of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill 2025. The global iGaming giant halted its RMG services on Aug. 22, after the bill, banning all forms of online real-money games, was tabled in Parliament on Aug. 20 and granted Presidential assent just two days later.
