Calgary – The reintroduction of fluoride in the city’s drinking water has been delayed to provide more time for new equipment to be inspected and tested at two water treatment plants. Fluoride was to be reinstated at the end of March, but the delay has pushed it until the year’s second quarter. It’s estimated it will cost $28.1 million to reintroduce fluoride at the Glenmore and Bearspaw water treatment facilities. CTV News report
