Florida Man Arrested with 34 Open Cans of White Claw in His Car During Traffic Stop
Florida Highway Patrol said the driver’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.177 after troopers found 34 open White Claws in his car.
On Friday night, Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested 33-year-old Conor William Parady for driving under the influence after stopping his Honda Civic for traveling over 90 mph on Interstate 75 in Pasco County.
Investigators searching the vehicle discovered 34 open White Claws inside, with a photo released by FHP showing empty containers on the passenger side.
While speaking with the driver, the trooper noted Parady appeared heavily intoxicated; he later recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.177% at Pasco County Jail, more than twice Florida's legal limit of 0.08%.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident, and authorities transported and booked the San Antonio resident into Pasco County Jail following the roadside arrest.
Patrolling near the 280-mile marker, a state trooper observed the speeding motorist at approximately 10:46 p.m. before initiating the stop that led to the arrest.
