Florida Man Accused of Accessing Women’s Computers and Making TikTok Posts
Court records say Mark Asea was jailed on a new felony computer offense after investigators linked him to private chats, banking details and more than 100 TikTok videos.
- On Wednesday, Mark Asea, 36, was arrested at his Port St. Lucie, Florida home on a felony count of offense against a computer user.
- This arrest follows an earlier investigation launched earlier this year that resulted in three counts being dropped in May; court records show the case was reopened on September 24 with the new allegation.
- Asea allegedly mentioned victims in over 100 TikTok videos, purportedly including private passwords, IMEI numbers, and MAC addresses while claiming to track individuals via GPS.
- Held on a $35,000 bond, Asea remains in the St. Lucie County jail as of Sunday, October 4.
- An arraignment is scheduled for November 19, following the investigation by the St. Lucie Police Department into the computer-access allegations.
