Flood warning: Mohawk River ice jam causes road closures

The National Weather Service has issued a severe flood warning for Albany, Saratoga and Schenectady Counties along the Mohawk River due to an ice jam. This is causing some road closures in these areas.

On Monday at 7:24 p.m. the National Weather Service released an updated flood warning in effect until Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. for Albany, Saratoga and Schenectady counties.The weather service says to expect, "Flooding caused by an ice jam continues for Albany, Saratoga and Schenectady counties."
