First Psychedelic super "very sensitive need" in depression

Infarmed approved the public funding of the first medicine with scetamine, a psychodelic, to be used in hospital care in adults with severe depression.

"As President of the SPPSM, I can only see in a very positive way the adoption of a new therapeutic tool and its financing in Portugal, which will satisfy a very significant need in our population, in particular in the area of depression, in the most resistant cases. I think it is good news for all," said João Bessa, in statements to Lusa.
