Heat Continues Into the Weekend

First major heat wave of the year arrives today, continues through the weekend

Todays Forecast:Warm on Wednesday, but turning hot today as our first major heat wave of the year moves into Southern Colorado. Temperatures this afternoon will soar into the 90s and 100s on the Plains. Heat continues into the weekend

High pressure will bring hotter temperatures back to New Mexico starting Thursday. Our first surge of monsoon moisture will move into the state by early next week.  A cold front left temperatures as much as 5º to 10º cooler this afternoon compared to yesterday.
