Firefighters Reach Full Containment of Brush Fire Near Corona

Firefighters Sunday battled a fire that burned at least 12 acres of vegetation east of Corona. The fire was reported around 2:50 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Eagle Canyon and Cajalco Roads, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. Multiple air and ground resources were at the scene and fully contained the fire around 4:55 p.m. The cause of the fire was not immediately known. No injuries were immediately reported.
