Firefighters extinguish blaze in south Abilene neighborhood

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - The Abilene Fire Department battled a structure fire in south Abilene Sunday afternoon. At 2:30 p.m., crews responded to the 2000 block of Jeanette Street in south Abilene. According to officials, the fire began in the shed on the corner of the property and spread to the garage, also causing damage to a part of the home and the fence. The fire is now out, and no injuries were reported. It is now under investigation.
