Firefighter dead after overnight blaze in Binghamton
- A Binghamton firefighter named John R. Gaudet, 40, died while fighting a fire downtown on Wednesday night after a wall collapsed, according to Mayor Jared Kraham.
- Two other firefighters were injured and treated at Wilson Medical Center, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
