Fire Burns an Acre in Lake Elsinore

A brush fire charred an acre in Lake Elsinore Saturday. The fire was reported at one-half acre at about 5:40 p.m. Saturday in the 34300 block of Canyon Hills Road, south of Canyon Hills Community Park, according to the Watch Duty app. At about 6:05 p.m., it was reported that forward progress was stopped at one acre.
