The Colombian campsite in Fréjus had to be evacuated for four hours until the sites were secured by firefighters.
A forest fire was declared on Monday, July 7, at about 11 a.m. near Fréjus in the Var. This fire has already covered several thousand square metres. Several campsites and housing units nearby have been evacuated.
The fire has already travelled "a few thousand square meters" in the east of the Var department on Monday 7 July. The origin of the sinister remains unknown.
