Fire Breaks Out at Ministry of Education Office in SPA Campus; No Casualties
A fire broke out on the second floor of the Ministry of Education office at the School of Planning and Architecture campus in central Delhi on Monday, prompting an emergency response involving multiple fire tenders, ambulances, and police personnel.
Information regarding the incident reached the IP Estate police station at around 8.45 a.m., while the Delhi Fire Service received a call about the blaze at 9.37 a.m., triggering rapid deployment of emergency resources.
Multiple fire tenders, ambulances, and PCR vans were deployed to the SPA campus, where firefighters launched an operation to contain flames erupting in faculty rooms of the administrative block on the second floor.
The blaze was successfully brought under control after sustained firefighting efforts and later extinguished completely, with no casualties reported during the emergency operation.
Authorities have launched an inquiry to ascertain the exact cause of the fire at the Ministry of Education office, with the situation now fully under control and no active fire remaining in the SPA building.
