Fire ban issued for metro area
The St. John’s Regional Fire Department has issued a fire ban for St.John’s, Mount Pearl, and Paradise due to the high fire hazard rating for the region. The fire ban will remain in effect until Tuesday, June 3, and will be re-evaluated on that day. This includes outdoor wood-burning appliances, charcoal BBQs and open fires. Propane firepits and BBQs are permitted.
