Statistics Canada reports Canadian-resident visits to the U.S. fell 23.5% in 2025 compared to 2024. Leisure-related travel to the U.S. dropped 21.5%.

After a 25% decrease in 2025, a recent travel survey shows Canadian visits to the U.S. continue to drop. The West Michigan Tourist Association says it has had an impact, but not so much locally.
