Mechanical issues cause string of cancellations for N.S.-P.E.I. ferry crossing
Northumberland Ferries has cancelled almost all crossings for tomorrow between Caribou Nova Scotia, and Wood Islands, P.E.I. due to high winds. This comes after a series of crossings were cancelled this weekend and again early this morning.
Tuesday morning and until the afternoon, several departures between Ærøskøbing and Svendborg have been canceled. Ærøfærgerne informs on its website, which also states that cancellations are due to a "main inspection". From Ærøskøbing, the departures from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. are canceled and from Svendborg, the departures from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. are canceled.
