Fernandina residents will vote on paid parking downtown

In Nassau County, Fernandina Beach voters have said loud and clear that they want to have a say in whether the city implements paid parking in the area. The supervisor of elections has certified a citizen-led petition to add a proposed ordinance to next year’s ballot that would stop the city from implementing paid parking without a majority approval vote.
