POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Brandeis University senior saber fencer Lev BenAvram (Bethesda, Md. / Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School) and first-year foil fencer David Knizhnik (Bethesda, Md. / Aeon) , each reached the final round of the NCAA Fencing Northeast Regional championships at Vassar College today, as they look to qualify for the NCAA National Collegiate Championships at the University of Notre Dame.

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - The Brown fencing program had 12 fencers compete at the 2026 NCAA Northeast Regionals on Sunday in Walker Field House. Ashley Luo led the way with a sixth-place finish in epee, followed by Ibla Vadasz in 10th for sabre and Jessie Chen in 11th for foil.
