SINGAPORE, JUL 9 – The 34-year-old teacher faces four charges including sexual grooming and stalking an underage student, with alleged incidents occurring mostly in 2019 and stalking in 2023-2024.
- On July 9, the 34-year-old Singaporean female primary school teacher was charged with four counts of sexual offences against a student, including sexual penetration and grooming.
- Between February and December 2019, the teacher allegedly committed indecent acts at a multi-storey car park, with a gap until stalking offences from October 2023 to March 2024.
- Court documents show she hugged, kissed, and performed oral sex on underage boys between 2019 and 2024, also sending at least 18 unwanted emails to a victim.
- The court adjourned the case to August with a gag order protecting the victim’s identity, and MOE confirmed she is no longer teaching after suspension in March 2024.
- If convicted, the teacher faces up to 10 years’ imprisonment under the Sexual Offences Act, with disciplinary action by the Ministry of Education to follow.
