Feds to inspect Syracuse’s drinking water system after last year’s high lead findings

Syracuse, N.Y. — After exceedingly high lead level results last year that Syracuse officials blamed on improper testing procedures, federal inspectors are looking at Syracuse’s water system this week.

Port Arthur receives grant to begin process of removing lead pipes from water system

The city of Port Arthur has received $4.8 million in assistance funding from the State to begin the process of surveying and removing any lead pipes from the city’s water delivery system.
