FedEx to Lay Off 800-Plus in Coppell

FedEx will lay off 856 workers as the Coppell facility closes due to a customer moving business to a new third-party logistics provider, with layoffs phased from January to April 2026.

FedEx said the cuts were tied to a customer’s decision to transition its business to another third-party logistics provider. The company has now confirmed at least 4,000 layoffs this year at its various facilities.
