League of Women Voters discusses federal funding cuts
The Bowling Green League of Women Voters is sponsoring a public meeting on April 26 to discuss cuts in funding for social services, including Social Security, health, food banks, housing and Medicaid. A panel of representatives to lead a round table discussion. Most of the cuts are federal, but the state is threatening to cut Medicaid. The meeting will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 1021 W. Wooster St., from 10 a.m. to noon.
