ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Crews responded early Wednesday morning to a house fire near Sparta. The fire broke out around 2:15 a.m. on La Pan NE near Camp Lake in Algoma Township. Algoma Township Fire Chief Troy Guerra told News 8 that a family of three lives at the home. The residents made it out of the house safely, but several pets died, he said.
