FCC investigating China-linked companies over evasion of U.S. national security measures

The agency is cracking down on the use of prohibited technologies following a series of hacks into U.S. telecommunications firms.

Zhu Jiang, a Chinese sergeant in the New York City Police Department's (NYPD) Criminal Investigation Bureau, is under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for alleged espionage activities for the Chinese government.
