This is the second such appointment for Poland during the pontificate of Leo XIV. The Pope, who took office just two months ago, on July 12th appointed a new auxiliary bishop of the Radom diocese. He was Father Krzysztof Dukielski from Magnuszew.
Pope Leo XIV appointed Father Krzysztof Dukielski, previously pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish in Magnuszew, as the new auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Radom. The announcement was made by the Apostolic Nunciature in Poland. He is the second Polish priest promoted in the Church hierarchy by the Holy Father.
For four years he was the diocesan moderator of the Light-Life Movement, and since 2021 he has been the parish priest of St. John the Baptist in Magnuszew.
