Fatal departmental traffic crash, Cairns North
Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash at the intersection of Sheridan and Lily Street this morning, 21 May. Initial information indicates around 7am, a police vehicle collided with a 71-year-old Trinity Beach woman. Officers immediately rendered medical assistance before she was transported to Cairns Hospital where she was later declared deceased.
