Belgian farmers have been blocking the entrance to Ostend Airport in the Flanders region with 50 tractors since this morning.
Since this morning, farmers have parked around 70 tractors at the entrance to Ostend Airport. They are once again protesting against foreign products, which are being sold cheaper than Belgian products. "No trucks are allowed in or out of the airport today," they said.
Belgian farmers are not giving up and are fighting against the agreement with Mercosur, which is harmful to EU agriculture. They are protesting at Ostend Airport against the EU's trade agreement with Mercosur. Around 60 tractors are parked in front of the port building. The Belga Agency reported that the farmers are blocking the entry and exit of trucks to and from the airport, from which cargo is transported.
