Farewell Self-Serve Soda: McDonald’s Shuts Down the All-You-Can-Drink Buffet

McDonald’s is gradually removing self-serve soda fountains from its U.S. dining rooms, with the change expected to be complete by 2032. The fast-food chain first confirmed the plan in 2023 as part of a broader restaurant modernization effort.
