Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ankara Culture Route Festival presented the capital's rich culinary culture, passed down from generation to generation, to gastronomy enthusiasts through 60 "Taste Points," including traditional businesses that have kept the same recipes and production traditions alive for years.
As part of the Ankara Culture Route Festival, 60 "Taste Points" showcasing the capital's traditional culinary culture met with gastronomy enthusiasts. The route, created within the scope of the project run by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), featured prominent local delicacies such as Ankara tava (a type of stew), lamb doner kebab, stone oven simit (a type of bagel), and 80-layer Beypazarı baklava.
As part of the Ankara Culture Route Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 60 Culinary Hotspots were selected. In the gastronomy program hosted by Chef Mehmet Yalçınkaya, the regional flavors of the capital city were discussed, primarily focusing on Ankara tava (a type of stew), Ankara döner (a type of kebab), and Ankara simit (a type of bagel).
