Family of Teacher Killed During Prank Wants Charges Against Students Dropped
Jason Hughes' family said he was excited to catch students toilet-papering his yard and urges dropping charges against the teens involved in the fatal prank.

- The Hall County Sheriff's Office arrested on Friday and charged Jayden Ryan Wallace with first-degree vehicular homicide and reckless driving; four others face trespass and littering charges and were released on bond on Friday.
- Family members asked that charges be dropped to avoid harming the teens' futures, calling the death a terrible tragedy, while community memorials and an online fundraiser raised more than $200,000 as of Monday.
- A preliminary hearing on April 1 is scheduled as prosecutors and investigators continue to review the incident; Lee Darragh, Hall County District Attorney, said, 'It is much too early in this process. I’ll not be commenting until the closure of the case.
