Through a public letter, the family of Venezuelan judge María Lourdes Afiuni made a public appeal to the international community on Wednesday, June 3, to help push for the final closure of the judicial case that has been open for more than 16 years. The appeal of the relatives of Judge Afiuni was addressed especially to the diplomatic representation of the United States in Venezuela, headed by business manager, John M. Barret.
