For the first time since Germany began auctioning offshore wind farm sites, no bids have been received. The Bundesnetzagentur, the German energy regulator, announced this on Wednesday. The energy industry calls it an alarming sign for the future of Germany's energy transition.

The Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) announced that no bids were submitted in the latest auction for offshore wind farms in Germany.
