The fifth and final day of unofficial Formula 1 testing in Barcelona marked the teams' first serious contact with the cars of the new technical era. Most teams made the most of the five-day programme at the Circuit de Catalunya, with the exception of Williams, who had announced in advance that they would focus exclusively on official testing in Bahrain.
