Extreme heat warning affecting 5 N.J. counties Tuesday and Wednesday
On Monday at 2:40 p.m. an extreme heat warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Tuesday 11 a.m. until Wednesday 8 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.The weather service says, “Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 106 degrees expected.”
