Extremadura Will Resort to Surface Limitation for Cava in 2027 and 2028

The Junta de Extremadura intends to appeal the resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture that limits for the next three years the extension of vineyard plantations of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Cava. Likewise, it will also request to the department led by Luis Planas that the restrictions on the new vines protected by this quality seal are valued annually, instead of doing so three-yearly as is now the case.
